Courtovo

Padel scoring on your watch

Padel is scored exactly like tennis, so Courtovo counts it exactly like tennis — every format, golden point included. This is a fact about the sport rather than a feature we added.

How padel is scored

0-15-30-40 to a game, six games with two games' margin to a set, a tiebreak at 6-6, best of three sets. If you know tennis scoring you know padel scoring; the differences between the two sports are the walls, the court and the serve technique, not the numbers.

The golden point is the one thing a padel player asks about. At 40-40 the next point decides the game — no advantage — and the receiving side chooses which side receives it. In doubles that choice belongs to the receiving pair and can differ from their normal rotation.

What Courtovo counts

Every one of the fourteen tennis presets applies to a padel match, and the golden point is the no-ad preset: pick it and 40-40 is decided by one point, with the receiver's choice recorded rather than guessed.

Doubles is the normal case in padel and it is a first-class one here: the pairing is asked once, the serving order follows from it, and an undo cannot leave the wrong player serving.

The watch says when to change ends — after every odd game — and buzzes twice once the undo offer has gone.

On the wrist

A padel court is four people and a lot of noise; the watch asks for one click of the bezel per point and nothing else. See the score screen and doubles.
