Statistics
How to open it
- During a match: swipe right to left on the score screen. One glance at a changeover.
- After a match: the Statistics row in the match detail.
What it shows
Every line reads mine · theirs, always in that order — so the number your eye lands on always means the same thing.
| Line | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Points | Total points won |
| On serve | Points won on your own serve / points played on it |
| On return | Points won as receiver / points played as receiver |
| Service games held | Games held / service games played |
| Break points won | Break points converted / break points created |
| Longest streak | The most points in a row anywhere in the match |
| Playing time | First point to last point |
| Sets | Duration of each set |
Why fractions and not percentages
Because a percentage of four points misleads. "3/4" is honest at four points and "75%" is not — and a watch screen has room for both numbers.
Worth knowing
- Break points exist in games, not in tiebreaks. A tiebreak has no serve to break, so none are counted there — though the tiebreak still counts as one game, which is why "service games held" always agrees with the scoreboard.
- 0-40 is three break points, not four. The point played at 0-30 is not one: winning it only makes the score 0-40.
- Nothing is stored. The numbers are recomputed from the list of points, the same list the score comes from. That is why the two can never disagree, and why a fix to the rules reaches old matches too.
